So far i have taken the quality of interaction from my follie to drive the building typology and concept of the learning centre. To take this further I am extracting more qualities from my follie and applying them to the learning centre. Colour played a strong role in my follie. I am going to build upon the concept of the psychological effects of colour upon our learning patterns and let that drive the form of the learning centre in an abstract manner.
We learn through repetition and recognition. Repeating something creates brain patterns which are connections between neurons. We then recognise these patterns or variations of these patterns.
